How it works
Each round goes on a new line, one column per player, and the totals sit under the double rule at the bottom. Type a score on the keypad, or tap the game's card values to add them up: Hearts gives you +1, +13 and +26, Uno +20 and +50. Minus works too, because Golf's 2s count minus 2 and Spades takes 100 off for ten bags.
The ring marks the best total. Most games are won by the highest, but in Hearts, Golf, Five Crowns and Mexican Train the lowest total wins, and the ring follows whichever rule you pick. A game can end at a score (Hearts at 100, Uno and Spades at 500, as their rules usually say) or after a number of rounds (Golf's nine holes, Five Crowns' 11, Mexican Train's 13). Every built-in rule links to its source below, and you can change any of them for house rules.
A tie stays a tie. Tap any number to fix it, and every change can be undone. Games stay on this device, and the screen stays on while you play.
Questions people ask
- How do you keep score in Hearts?
- Each heart counts 1 point and the queen of spades 13, and the lowest total wins; Bicycle's rules say the game is usually played to 100 (some play to 50). Pick Hearts on this pad: it circles the lowest total and ends the game when someone reaches 100.
- Who wins at Golf, the card game?
- The player with the lowest total after nine holes (deals). In six-card Golf, 2s count minus 2, kings count 0 and a pair in a column scores 0, so totals can go below zero; this pad takes negative scores.
- How many points do you need to win Uno?
- 500, in the classic points game: the player who goes out scores the cards left in everyone else's hands, number cards at face value, action cards 20 and wilds 50. Since the 2022 rule change, playing to points is an optional way to play.
- What happens if two players tie?
- This pad shows a tie as a tie and circles both totals. Some games break ties their own way: in Mexican Train the player with the most zero rounds wins, and in Phase 10 the lower score wins if two players finish in the same hand. Settle those at the table.
- Where are my games saved?
- Only in this browser on this device; nothing is sent anywhere. Use Export in Settings to keep a copy, or Download as CSV in Game settings for one game's score sheet.
