How it works

Each subscription's price is turned into what it costs a year: weekly prices × 52, monthly × 12, quarterly × 4, yearly × 1, and every N days × 365 ÷ N. That's our convention, not an official one: a weekly charge lands 53 times in some years, so ×52 can be one charge short. Amounts are kept in whole cents (or the currency's smallest unit) and each yearly cost is rounded once, so the lines add up exactly to the total. The monthly figure is that total ÷ 12. The list is sorted biggest first; marking one Cancel adds its yearly cost to the saving.

Next charges roll forward from the date you enter by whole billing periods counted from that date, so a charge on the 31st lands on the last day of shorter months and returns to the 31st after. Reminders are calendar files with an alert a few days before, at 9 AM; nothing is sent from our side.

In the US, the FTC's 2024 click-to-cancel rule was vacated by a federal appeals court in July 2025. ROSCA still requires online sellers to offer a simple way to stop recurring charges. Your list stays in this browser.

Questions people ask

How do I find all my subscriptions?
Start with 12 months of bank and card statements, because yearly renewals only show up once a year. Then check the lists kept by companies that bill for others: Apple (Settings, your name, Subscriptions), Google Play (Subscriptions) and PayPal (Settings, Payments, Automatic payments). Apple's help page notes that a subscription you can't find there may be billed by another company, and points you to your statement.
How do I work out what a subscription costs a year?
Multiply the price by how many times it's charged in a year: 12 for monthly, 4 for quarterly, 52 for weekly. A $15.49 monthly plan costs $185.88 a year. A weekly charge lands 53 times in some years, so ×52 can be one charge short; this page uses 52 and says so.
Is the FTC's click-to-cancel rule in effect?
No. A federal appeals court vacated the FTC's 2024 click-to-cancel rule on July 8, 2025, and the FTC restored the older rule text in February 2026. In March 2026 it asked for public comment on a possible new rule. A 2010 law, ROSCA, still requires online sellers to give you a simple way to stop recurring charges, and some states, such as California, have their own click-to-cancel requirements.
Does this page connect to my bank?
No. You type each subscription in, so your bank login never goes anywhere. The trade-off is that the page can't find a subscription you don't know about, which is why it lists where subscriptions hide.
Where is my list kept?
Only in this browser on this device; we never see it. Export a copy from Settings, as a file to move it or as a spreadsheet (CSV).
