How it works

The page counts calendar dates from the day it started: the first day is day 0, the next day is 1 day, the way most date calculators count. Some couples, especially in Korea, count the first day as day 1; turn that on and the day count and the day milestones move by one.

"Together for" is the calendar span, in years, months and days. A month after January 31 is the last day of February, and a February 29 date has its anniversary on February 28 in other years.

The round numbers are the same ones everywhere on this site: 100, 1,000 and 10,000 days, 100 weeks, 10,000 hours, 1 million minutes, 1 billion seconds and every anniversary, among others. Days, weeks, months and years land on the date; hours, minutes and seconds are exact time, counted from midnight if you didn't give a time.

"Add these to your calendar" gives you a calendar file with the next few, so your own calendar reminds you. Your date stays in this browser.

Questions people ask

How do you count the days we've been together?
By calendar dates: the day you got together is day 0, so the day after is 1 day together, the way timeanddate's duration calculator counts by default. Korean calculators count the first day as day 1, which puts the 100th day 99 days after the start; turn on Count the first day as day 1 to count that way.
When is our 1,000th day?
1,000 days after the start date (999 days after it if you count the first day as day 1). Enter your date and the page shows it, along with 10,000 hours, 100 weeks and the other round numbers ahead.
What is a 100-day celebration?
In Korea, a baby's 100th day (baegil) is a traditional celebration that dates from a time of high infant mortality, and couples commonly celebrate 100 days, 200 days and the first anniversary of dating. Choose Age or Together to see when yours falls.
When will I be a billion seconds old?
About 31 years and 8 months after you were born: a billion seconds is 11,574 days, 1 hour, 46 minutes and 40 seconds. Choose Age and enter your birth date and time to see the exact moment.
Where is my date kept?
Only in this browser on this device; we never see it. Clear this date in Settings removes it, and Export keeps a copy.
